Tibetan Village Project Australia Inc has recently returned from visiting our projects in Kham . Unfortunately, we could not visit our programs in the Tibetan Autonomous Region (Lhasa) as it was closed to westerners.

Despite this, our trip was fantastic as we enjoyed the hospitality of the boys at the orphanage in Tagong, opened the new shower block, donated by one of our members and saw the new Thanka painting centre and Arts & Craft centre, again, donated by our members.

We visited our Medical Clinic in Suhurong and were excited that it has been registered by the authorities as a fully pledged medical facility. We flew kites with the young monks in Suhurong Monastery, it really was a fantastic adventure.
