TVP Australia news

We are now back in Chengdu having just been to see our work in Kham. Firstly, the Orphanage in Lagong where we now have 55 boys, was a treat to see the new yard which is now closed in and warmed by a big stove in the centre. All boys were given a new Chupa, or coat, that was made by a local tailor, plus socks, hats, gloves and blankets.

In Dora village, we opened a new Stupa and set in motion plans for a new venture, primarily for students and adults. It is a Nomad village where people can experience living as Tibetan Nomads. There will be all ammenities, showers, toilets and for those who do not wish to camp, there will be home stays. Activities like horse riding, hiking, mountain bike riding and soon, rafting will all be inclusive in the package.

Suhurong will also be a new student and adult location where not only home stay will be available, but also the Monastery has a guest house where one can stay and be looked after by the Monks. Imagine meals being served to you by the Monks in the Monastery.

There is plenty more that will be in our Newsletter, which we should have out by the end of the week.
